Child banged head

School phoned to come collect my daughter 6 as she fell and banged head on concrete floor. Shes got an egg sized lump on head. She seems fine- she more concerned about her cut knee. School said no loss of consciousness head ache etc. Would you take her to minor injuries or home?

Yes I’d take her and if you ring 111 they’ll say the same.

I would go to minor injuries personally, better be safe

I think if they're concerned enough for her to be collected I'd take her to be seen just in case. Though from what you've said she sounds like she'll be fine and just need a little tlc. Bless her.

It's also worth going to minor injuries so they can explain what to look out for with a head injury and answer any questions. I've been several times with my DSs!
