DH was moaning all last night how he has so much work to do and no time to do it. This morning he told me that he was probably going to have to work late.
I work part time and today was one of my days off. I said no problem, any idea what time when you’ll be back. Could see he didn’t so just said don’t worry, I’ll just write you off for the night. Meaning about not being home to help with DD.
Normally if DH works late there will be a last minute phone call to say can you hold off putting DD to bed so I can say good night.
So pre-empting the call I delayed dinner and bath time a bit so she was up a little later.
At bed time I call DH and he says you must have a sixth sense, I’ve just walked into the pub.
This has really annoyed me. When I try and think why it’s not actually because he has gone to the pub, it’s because he didn’t bother to call and let me know.
I’m prepared for people to say iabu but please be kind, hormonal pregnant women here!
