My partner keeps wearing a polo shirt with the collar up then a sweater over the top. When we were going out I turned it down for him. Then he turned it up. It kinda led to a row & spoilt the evening. I hated sitting next to him in the bar dressed like that. AIBU?

Unless your DP is Eric Cantona YANBU to think that a polo shirt collar turned up looks ridiculous. YABU to let it lead to a row and spoil your evening though.

This really made me laugh, sorry OP. I would be extremely embarrassed.

Leave him alone. He thinks he looks good. If he started interfering with your clothes you’d rightly kick off.

Sew all his collars down.

his clothles his choice, you fussing with the collar is actting like his mum, so that's irritating, if he argued over an item you were wearing you'd either agree it looked wrong and change it or and my response 'jog on,'

Ah thanks RusholmeRuffian, so its a football thing.

My dh wears his like that. I could not care less and leave him to it. I'd be really mad if he started faffing with my clothing and treating me like a toddler!
