Aibu tombe scared to fly to Heathrow because of coronavirus?

I booked my short getaway to London a while ago and never get to travel...but I'm scared to catch the virus and bring it home. Aibu?

Wow interesting read. Hadn’t realised at first this originated in January, so was thinking what a crazy loon. Until I saw the January date. My how things change so quickly. New world order now.

It’s the way people were so rude about it- it’s ome thing to say “YABU, your trip to London will be fine at this point in time,” and quite another to say “get a grip”, “why don’t you wrap yourself up in cotton wool?”, “you’re being ridiculous”, “maybe you’ll eat a prawn cracker and get it” and “I’ve just walked past the Chinese Ready meals in the supermarket, maybe I’ll get it” (those last two, just wtf?!).

Any of you 'experts' changed your minds yet?

Those telling the OP not to be ridiculous, that she's being precious, that this is less dangerous than the flu, are almost certainly the same people screaming 'stay at fucking home, idiots' 'why are you trying to kill me and my family?' or my personal bugbear 'I despair' in a paragraph on its own.

I still wouldn't have been scared to fly to London at the height of the pandemic. I've never been scared of Covid at all.
