Do I stack things wrong?

Ok, my unorganised cupboard is annoying my partner. I just wash up and put things away quickly without much thought. Do I need to be more attentive to the appearance of how it looks?

Pan lids on the pans upside down so they're not in the way and pans can still be stacked.

You're wasting a lot of cupboard space, especially on the top shelf. Get one or two wire shelf stackers, (from Lakeland or similar) they would make your crockery more easily accessible.

There isn't a wrong or right way...I wouldn't even discuss this with my partner or take any notice if he criticised the way I put things away.

Why do people care about this type of shit?

Because it makes life easier (or not)

Mine looks a lot like that.

We just bought new saucepans where the handles clip on and off - LIFE CHANGING! Saucepans all nestle neatly inside each other, like multi sized mixing bowls. So they only take as much space as the biggest one.
