That i shouted at a twat of a driver on his mobile

Really pisses me off when i see these nobs on their mobiles and it is obvious they are on them cos there driving is so bad! No lane control etc etc. This time i tooted him after been cut up on roundabout and then he nearly swerved into another car. He had the cheek to half pull infront of my car in his BMW and grin. Thankfully my ds wasnt in the car so i could shout to get of the phone you irresponsible wanker.. .. well not so angry now as all calmed down. But really pisses me off.

No yanbu, I tell all of them on their phones to get off. But don't forget he's driving a BMW and there's different rules for beemer drivers!

oh dont, saw a late teen driving on the motorway yesterday in steady moving but very heavy traffic merrily talking into her loud speaker phone, whilst holding it in her hand 2 inches from her mouth [wtf???] i went mad, but being on the motorway she didnt even notice, she kept slamming her brakes on coz she wasnt paying enough attention!

I've just had pedestrian rage.
People drive at 60/70 through our (30mph) village. I saw about 6 or 7 today, 2 of which were on phones.
It's only a matter of time before someone dies, well it's not going to be me or my son, I'm not walking into the village any more!

What is wrong with some of them? Is a mobile phone a sort of life support system? It is possible to cope without constant wittering... silence is golden sometimes.

I had a very satisfying yell at a twat driver recently - a woman in an open-topped idiot-wagon who merrily sailed over a zebra crossing just as I was about to totter on to it, pushing a pram and with DS1 by the hand. I instantly yelled 'IT'S THE BLACK AND WHITE STRIPES THAT GIVE IT AWAY' and I like to think that she heard me, given her lack of a roof. If she didn't hear me, she might at least have seen me deploying the international sign for 'wanker' in her rear-view mirror.

So, YANBU.

It always amazes me that it's the people with flash cars who are too tight to buy a proper hands free kit!

About two weeks ago I was walking along the pavement in my village when I spotted a van being driven at high speed along the road. I could hardly believe it when I then saw that the driver was texting . Unfortunately for the chap, his van had the name of his company on it so, in a fit of pique, I rang his company and grassed him up. His boss was furious and couldn't have been more apologetic. Perhaps some people would feel it was petty of me but it made me feel great!

In fact when I saw someone doing 70 through our village I tried to remember his license plate to ring the police I wouldn't of course but was just so angry at the time.
Because I know feel like a complete hypocrite I'd like to mention that I have been done for speeding before, on the motorway. Suppose this is more personal now, as I am the pedestrian with my baby, the pavement disappears on the way into our village so you have to keep crossing the road, it bends so you can't see very far...can't help thinking it's only a matter of time before someone is hit at 70.

hurly - what would MN be without people getting het up about things that may or may not appear trivial to others. But FWIW I think that mobile phone use whilst driving is probably one of the things that is worth getting het up about.

YANBU...it is against the law after all.

littlelapin...was that shown on traffic cops? If it was the same one, it was really horrific and sad. They've shown it twice now to try and get the message across.

I get a bit annoyed about it too......

....my hands free kit cost five quid in tesco.....so no excuses really is there?

I've just come back from a couple of weeks in France. The only drivers I saw on mobiles all had GB registration plates .

Hurburly a young woman recently lost her unborn baby because of an idiot driver. Is she allowed to get worked up?

Because, sorry but the way I see it, these donkey drivers are playing with our lives when they drive this irresponsibly.
