Is this for real

Shev1996 · 26/01/2020 05:22

Flu? But I’m not a doctor as the majority on here aren’t. If you feel ill enough phone your go surgery or non emergency nhs number. The internet cannot diagnose you

Ponoka7 · 26/01/2020 05:23

There's all sorts of viruses going around.

You might have a bit of vomiting. I'd eat plain, easily digested food and keep your temperature down and rest if you need to.

mummyof2ds · 26/01/2020 05:23

Yes googled it and they have said loads of things think I will ring 111 when kids get up

It's probably just a virus. Drink water and take some paracetamol.

Strategicchoring · 26/01/2020 06:20

It's horrible when you are ill in the middle of the night. Are you on your own with DC? Hope it's nothing serious and you feel better soon.

mummyof2ds · 26/01/2020 06:23

My dp has to set off to work soon so will be then dc was supposed to be going to a party today but don't feel up to it

OP posts:
Strategicchoring · 26/01/2020 06:27

Can you get the DC settled on the sofa with a duvet and snacks and take it steady yourself? Hope you can rest a bit anyway.

mummyof2ds · 26/01/2020 06:31

Strategicchoring · 26/01/2020 09:54

How are you all doing? Hope it's just a 24 hr thing and you recover quickly.

mummyof2ds · 26/01/2020 16:10

Rang out of hours they said they think it's just a viral infection but if it gets worse ring them back straight away

OP posts:
Strategicchoring · 26/01/2020 16:18

I suppose that's good news in a way - difficult being diagnosed over the phone I guess - but hope it doesn't get worse. Hope your ds no worse either Flowers Brew Bear

mummyof2ds · 26/01/2020 16:27

TheSheepofWallSt · 26/01/2020 16:31

Do people really ring 111 at the first sign of a virus in (presumably otherwise healthy) adults?
Extraordinary.

mummyof2ds · 26/01/2020 16:36
