Local anaesthetic side effects

DD had a filling at the dentist Thursday afternoon (2 days ago). It was her first filling and first time having local anaesthetic (shes 22). Since the anaesthetic started wearing off around 3 hours later shes had a constant headache/fuzzy head, has no memory of the treatment or rest of thursday evening and has been very quiet and tired.
She still feels like this now, 2 days later. Prior to the treatment when the dentist first mentioned the need for a injection she got very panicky (hates injections with a passion! And often gets sick before having one if theres a build up to it which there wasnt), crying and breathing very fast and then holding her breath and having to be reminded to breathe during the injection.
Could it be a reaction with it coming on so soon after or just something else.
Any info or help greatly received as I hate seeing her not like her normal happy self.

Phone NHS Direct and ask for their advice. Probably nothing wrong but best to check with the experts
