To ask how to relieve breast pain when not BF.. Day 4 PP

Baby born Tues early hrs.
Milk came thro yesterday.. Over night my breasts have enlarged so much that I put my biggest bra on and its broke the claps at the back with the strain.
I remember this with dd and ds. However this time they're so hard and painful. Plus toddler keeps knocking into me as she's very clingy and I have to keep pushing her away.
Even hurts to. Hold baby or move my arms.

I normally have a high pain threshold. But I'd sooner labour than this.

Ooohhhh I feel you. This was the worst part about having DD (and I had a section) I remember crying coz my boobs were so hard and lumpy 😭 I strapped them in with a cropped comfy bra (like a lounge bra) and then a tight sports bra over that. And then I didn't touch them for days.

DH was disappointed they went back down as commented, it looked like I had a 5k tit job. 🤦‍♀️

Lol at 5k tit job.. Yeah dh eyes are popping out his head.. He goes near I'll pop his head off his shoulders. Lol

Tesco had no cabbages! Late delivery. So quickly added one to my tonight's click collect order I hope they have stock then.

Just taken sudafed and Ibrophen

Espon salts in ur bath will help dry the supply up. I had same problem with my toddler wanting cuddles etc

Have tried cabbage dh went elsewhere in the end.
Sudafed. Ibrophen and paracetamol cool Flannels
And nothing they're now really red. The veins from pressure look like an ordnance survey map
Theyre really red not sure if it's normal..

If they're really red get yourself to the doctors ASAP.
