To ask for help with trousers (short, big tum)

Back to work soon after mat leave with DS. Can anyone please suggest where I can get decent work trousers. I’m size 14ish, only 5 foot 2 but my big problem is a big wobbly tum relative to slim legs and bum.

Any suggestions welcomed! Thanks.

I have the same body shape so looking forward to seeing replies.

What’s your budget? Primark had a good selection although they weren’t for petite.

Next and Dorothy Perkins both have petite ranges. I think you will just need to go and try some on.

I'm the same height but size 16 on bottom. Trousers are impossible. My legs are short and not particularly big so trousers that are flattering on the leg are too small. If I buy to fit my waist the legs are awful.
I mostly wear leggings or jeggings or dresses with tights.

Lucy and Yak have some gorgeous ones. They're often more tailored towards the ankle too, so they show off a slimmer calf, but give plenty of room for curves

(perhaps something like their Alexa or Eunoia design?)

Matalan. Im the same height with a tum and that's the only place I've found with trousers that actually fit. They do different styles and lengths

Thanks everyone. The Lucy and yak ones are nice and I think they’d suit me but I don’t think they’ll be smart enough for my work . May still treat myself for dress down Friday!

I am short and dumpy with a large tummy. These M&S ones have been a staple of my work wardrobe for a decade and was so relieved they still make them when I needed some new ones recently! They are a stretchy but smart material with a super comfy elastic waist. I would suggest if you are between sizes to size down as I find them on the generous side.
