I have spent nearly 2 weeks slogging my guts out to do our bedroom,

This has involved, stripping paper, plastering and papering walls, moving a furking heavy triple pine wardrobe and chest of drawers round the bedroom. Sanding every piece of woodwork, painting coving 4 times (it was darkish colour before, now have white) painting all walls about 3 times (was a lighter colour, now going darker)

AND putting a double bed and 2 units etc together.

Wiring up a phone extension so we can have it it the sid of our bed.

All this has been done whilst he has been sat on his ring piece watching the tele or playing on the ds lite (I've now hidden the game)

Therefore on the first night of my newly decorated room I want to have a long soak, and slip in between my new ironed egyptian cotton sheets and drink red wine whilst revelling in what I've done (I've burn my fingers sanding the radiator so hard .

I want to do this without being disturbed by his snoring and smelly farts, after all he didn't help.

where's he going to sleep though?

southeastastra · 30/08/2007 18:16

sounds reasonable. tell him it's the sofa for tonight

i do all the decorating etc too

charliecat · 30/08/2007 18:18

Wheres he gonna sleep? The sofa?
Why not. Just tell him youve got the skitz and you think you may fart and follow through.
Give him the game back and a quilt...

Radley · 30/08/2007 18:19

Yup it would be the sofa, and its very very comfy, he would know that is where he usually collapses when he is pissed.

Do you two get on when you are not decorating?

wildwoman · 30/08/2007 18:20

You make him sound like the dad in the Royal Family!

DoubleBluff · 30/08/2007 18:21

OOh Radley I can feel that seething resentment from here!
No you are not being unreasonable.
In fact the sofa should be permanent until he bucks his ideas up!

fawkeoff · 30/08/2007 18:22

lol

Radley · 30/08/2007 18:22

Charlie, yes we do get on if you count him sitting on sofa watching tele and me on the other on the computer on a night time.

He doesn't do much in the house. He once said he couldn't do the laundry and tidy the kitchen because my texts were distracting him

Oh right
Can you not forget this for tonight and ravish him in your nice new room?
With the condition he washes up and cleans the toilet for the next week?

wildwoman · 30/08/2007 18:25

Have the soak in the bath tomorrow, tart yourself up and piss off out for the evening, then treat yourself to a lie in in your spaking new bedroom at the weekend

Radley · 30/08/2007 18:25

No chance, it's not finished yet waiting for gloss etc to dry and have yet to clean the carpet.

He's on nights anyway 'YIPPEE' whole bed to myself and no flicker channel
