So I may be being princessey here... BUT only my husband bothered with my birthday, the rest of my family hasn't even acknowledged it! I think I'm more annoyed actually I'm upset if I'm honest, that my father has a "companion" who's birthday is towards Christmas and he was frantic about getting to town to buy her a card and gift even bought the present to me to wrap up, I've had not so much as a text or phone call from him! I saw him on Friday (he comes at least 3 nights a week for dinner) and my DH mentioned that he would be away for my birthday for work and how gutted he was to be back late evening so we couldn't do anything for it. He lives 3 streets away from me as well so that makes it worse in my opinion. Today is one of those days where I could easily get in the car and drive until I run out of petrol - only I won't do that as I'll only get to the end of my estate as the car needs filling up!!!
