To ask you to tell me how old I look?

I was insulted today and told I look much older than I am. Could I ask you to tell me how old you think?

Be kind, but honest

I posted as I was interested in hearing what other women thought, as it was a man who made the comment. I think I was hoping to be told I look less than 60! (which I have by alot of you so thank you for that)

@Cyclelover I wasn’t, I thought I was giving you a compliment. Difficult to judge a small photo though, but you do seem to have very deep wrinkles and the only option is to carry them with proud.

Fair enough GDBB. I've always been perfectly comfortable with the way I look but being told I look 20+ years older today came as a bit of a shock

I'm nearly 44 but look older I think. I was visiting my 100yo grandmother one time and a new nurse asked if I was her daughter I have that pale type of skin that seems to age badly. Don't worry OP, it doesn't matter really! And I would have said 40s fwiw

I've always been slim, I do alot of exercise and cycle as a full on hobby. Never knew that could add years to my face though! You learn something new every day

Lol skincare....what ever is on offer. I try not to eat too many sweets, but am not always successful. No, I am not a smoker.

@74NewStreet because her photos were obvioously with a filter, and I honestly thought she was really old, just trying to havr younger hair. And I’m sorry, but she did ask. And my friends 60- and 70+ plus look younger, but they do not smoke or suntan if that is the reason.

@Cyclelover I think you look much better in the natural, unfiltered photo. I'll admit, I did think you were much older in the previous ones. You're very slim, so I think that can be ageing in the face and neck area - although it's great in other areas!
I do agree that a warmer hair colour would work wonders for you.

Cyclelover if I’m being totally honest you look about 65 I think the filter is making it difficult to see

Now, OP, I'm 48 and think I look roughly my age. Comparing your photo you look older than me because of the smoker's wrinkles. Quit and slather with decent moisturiser and you can stop time (somewhat).

I mean if you're comparing your pic to the OP's 3rd which was unfiltered.
