To think that after the first hi it becomes a bit forced?

You know on the school run when you just want to be friendly and say hi, but there's nothing to talk about and you suddenly find yourself committed to say hi every time you see that person and it becomes a bit forced.

Anyone else who feels like this?

Just say hi and walk on with purpose. Far better to be friendly than head down and no eye contact.

(I say hi to all who look up - including the regular dog walkers we see en route.)

What I really hate are those who have at some part in the last X years added you on FB or you them but they don't delete you and don't say hi either. They get a few months and then they are deleted from my FB.
