I didn't think we could earn more than £45k. Average I see in the adverts on the high end is between £38k and £42kish.
Recently I found out an ex colleague is earning just under £50k. She was on a lower band rate at my old place but hard working, and so the jump is even bigger for her...really proud of her. But I wish I knew before as I didn't even know to earn that figure was possible...otherwise I would have started off higher with my negotiating in new job! Same role btw for both of us, different new companies.
I don't know what the mobility is like in this field long term. Have any of you worked 10 years + as a Legal PA/Secretary then moved into something else... other than training as a lawyer etc?
Would love to know real life earning power in this role.
