Kissing dogs!

Am I alone? I sometimes give my dog a quick kiss between the eyes. Am I wrong?

Maybe (definitely don't!) kiss me....

I like to lick eyeballs.

Kisses on the head = sweet and wonderful.
Kisses on the mouth = ew. (For me, but if someone else does it, fine; just don't try to kiss me afterwards!)

Dog "kissing" human on ears, hands, feet = awwww, so sweet!
Dog "kissing" human on lips = thank you, no.

I loooove the smell of some dogs' feet, and don't even get me started on that amazing "puppy breath" smell they have when they're still tiny!

Spots on heads are definitely designed for kissing!

I kiss my dog all the time. I try to kiss him on the chops too but he dodges me haha.

Of course you should, and in fact, MUST kiss your dog! and accept kisses back. What would be the point otherwise?!

I have 2 Shih Tzus, and the legend with them is that a Buddha kissed the top of ones head because the dog saved him, and that's why Shih Tzus have the white stripe/crest on their heads. So obviously bullshit cute.

I always kiss their heads, but their tongues aren't coming anywhere near my face

I'm so glad mine never lost his when he grew up (he was only 16 weeks in that photo - two now) - his sister had the same spot and she lost hers as her markings changed.

He wakes me up with kisses everyday - and DH is always saying "stop kissing them (we have cats too) - they don't need to be kissed!"

How could you possibly BU? I kiss my dogs about 10x more than I do DP . I just love them, they're so soft and snuggly and when they've been sleeping on the bed after the sheets have been changed they smell of clean washing powder and are just ASKING to be kissed!

My daughter kisses our dog (she kisses her on the head, not her lips or anything) before we leave the house 🤣

I kiss my dogs all the time and they lick me. One of them is determined to try to shove her tongue down my throat at every opportunity, and she can also be a stealth licker and will get you when you're least expecting it.

I have a lot of very licky clients too, my hands and face are often right in range when I'm doing examinations. I try not to think too much about where their tongues might have been... but meh, I'm not really bothered. Friendly, affectionate animals are a joy and tbh if I was going to catch anything from being licked by dogs or cats I'd have been dead years ago

Dogs lick their arse so I wouldn't let them lick my face. MIL likes to let her dog give her a 'kiss' on the lips. Disgusting.

So does mine, but then he gets a bath. So he's clean.

I kiss my dog and would kiss all the dogs in the pictures that have been posted. Dogs are the best.

On the top of the head, a lot!

And I play with her ears. She loves that.

2 of our ddogs sits on ds's bed for bedtime story every single night. Then kisses him and leaves when it's finished!
