@Wiltinglillies

An author called William Gibson described it - it's where things can be downloaded directly into the brain or drugs administered - it's a body modification or hack and beloved of cyberpunk fictions BUT it's very close to becoming a real possibility....

DP is an absolute geek for all this stuff and I'm fascinated - he's also a body mod expert so is very well informed about this stuff. Scares me a bit though.

What IS a Union?

OldQueen1969 · 14/01/2020 13:57

@Wiltinglillies

Spot on. And theoretically pacemakers can already be hacked. Transhumanism to improve the lot of humanity is fab in theory, but human nature being what it is, policing it would be extremely difficult. Mark of the beast and all that (not that I'm the least bit religious).

JamieVardysHavingAParty · 14/01/2020 13:59

AIBU to miss the days before such widespread antibiotic resistance?

BlackeyedSusan · 14/01/2020 14:02
