Age to watch Uncle Buck?

Aibu to let DD 3 and DS 6 watch Uncle Buck? Too racy? They say 'shit' a couple of times and I spin over the 'hot n heavy' scene at the party.

Thoughts?

Id say its pretty harmless if you skip the party scene...wouldnt worry about "shit" being said, im sure they have heard it before..good film choice

Love this film It was on three times over Christmas and i watched it two of those times. Prefer it to Home Alone............because more of the hilarious John Candy Id forgotten how funny he was.

Check out a film of his called Summer Rental. This one is hardly ever on TV now sadly.

So bloody sad that he died so young.

Definitely commonsense media. I think I waited until mine were 8+ for Uncle Buck. Great film tho!

I wouldn't watch it with that age personally. Lots of use of the word "shit" and the occasional "arsehole". Also a few bits of snogging - nothing too racy but doesn't feel aimed that young. When I googled rating it said PG-13. Also it's not as laugh out loud funny as, say, Home Alone, so I think they might be a bit bored!
