To feel overwhelmed by makeup?

I’m 48. I like to wear makeup but I’m feeling a bit stuck in a rut.... have worn the same foundation for years (Estee Lauder Double Wear), same colours (nude on the eyes, red or pinky beige lips & natural blusher). I don’t feel I suit it anymore... my skin has changed in tone & texture, and I feel old. I have watched loads of YouTube/Instagram videos & I’m completely blown away by all the makeup looks....But it all seems too much. Layers & layers of it, and they’re all really young. Had a go at applying lashes, and honestly, I thought I looked like a camel. Long gone are the days when I looked forward to my weekly Blue Jeans & Jackie magazines & practiced the latest look lol... So I’m wondering, are there any makeup instagram/YouTube channels for women in my age group?

I recommend TRINNY London. They 'do' make up tutorials at their HQ with make up artists and then the price is redeemable against the products. You can book online. Thing I like - not so many products, her face book page sees her using her lip pot as a blush and on her eyelids too.
