It's completely bizarre the way the media going on and on about what is basically some hyped up celebrity gossip. Reading about this stuff is supposed to be a guilty pleasure, not something that legitimately consumes the attention of all the papers for days on end when there is actual highly important stuff going on. It just seems like no one can face real news anymore as it's just so relentless - even the journalists who write the headlines have needed a break from Brexit, Trump, Iran, the NHS, etc.

I dont give a fuck about the monarchy in general, but I care insofar as this is another example of how certain toxic, tabloids have a worrying degree of influence on UK society.

I genuinely couldnt care less. It wont affect my life in anyway. Ridiculous how wound up people are getting especially Piers Morgan, I unfollowed him on instagram because I'm sick of his posts about it.
