To be worried about this call?

My landline just rang and when I answered a female voice said : "Mrs Tigha"? I said, "Yes", and she hung up.

I dialled 1471 and got the number, called it and a recorded voice said 'this number has not been recognised'. So I dialled 1471 again to double check and I had the correct number.

I've now got feelings of foreboding and I don't know why. Anyone else experience this, or know what it might be?

Google the number. It will be ambulance chasers

It will be from a company automatic dialler, you cannot call back that number as it is dialling out only. Please ignore it.

ok. I guess I just wondered why she hung up as soon as I confirmed who I was. I'll forget about it!

Put the number into google.

Look up whocalledme?on Google

ZeroFuchsGiven I did that after 1471. Nothing comes up. And I did 'Who Called Me' and it's not on there either.

Try ringing it from your landline or OH phone.

Cold callers use auto diallers so one human operator can make several calls at once, if they were getting somewhere with someone else, they’ll just hang up on you.
