We had a rough year last year with a diagnosis of a chronic illness for one of my children. The other children have been quite affected by this too and are feeling quite down by it and all the changes. I feel like we are all fed up / a little lost and grumpy.
I want to get back as close to normal as possible so have decided to re jig things. Our sleep routine is out of whack so I am
Focusing on early nights again so we can all (within reason with the illness) get a decent sleep which should really help. Homework is going to be completed as soon as possible after it’s been given out so we don’t have that hanging over us anymore. Healthier food and snacks to give us all a bit more energy. Trying to do nice things together as often as we can to try and make the kids feel like we are a unit again and stop the constant bickering! Anyone else re vamping their family life?
