MRI today - hand hold needed!

Sorry to post on here but I only have a couple of hours and wanted the traffic.

Have a brain MRI today and I am not looking forward to the tight space and all the noise... I’m nervous anyway about what’s wrong with me, so I’m scared it’s going to tip me over the edge and I freak out and can’t have it done.

Also worrying about waiting for the results in case they find something, but definitely need a virtual hand hold and any tips / tricks for the MRI itself this morning.

Results and scan in the same day - wow! Where did you go? OP and Congrats.

@agonyauntie2020 I used a company called MRI Plus and paid for their silver package in the end as it got the results quicker (within 2 working days). £250 very well spent.

My results were sent both to my GP and consultant who I had seen for another matter privately so he had my email address. He was kind enough to email me as soon as he received the report because who wouldn’t want to know immediately that their brain is normal?! I sent him a very gushing response! Wouldn’t have got the results from my GP until at least Tuesday so he has saved me lots of worry! X
