AIBU to think this phrase always makes you sound like a self important prat?

Rules are:

  • you have to say it entirely stony faced
  • about something totally banal
  • that no-one even asked you to divulge

Hands up who else is already sick of their colleagues again after the Christmas break? Grin

It was Karen Dunbar who said 'I smell shite'! I say it all the time! Especially when watching the news!

Dh signed the OSA when he was in the mob, and got developed vetting (sounds painful) when he was on Boats from Faslane. Never spoke about it much - (I know how many smarties are in the missile tubes - 42) but there were a number of countries we still cannot go to on holiday to even today and he's been out for a few years - North Korea, Cambodia, Laos, Iran, Iraq, Libya - utter bummer!
