AIBU to expect DH to clean the toilet

Not too serious guys but...

So he has previous for it and I've gone on about it. He came home from work poorly and to be fair, looks but rough. Go to toilet... Seat up, shit all down pan, no attempt to clean up. It really fucking pisses me off. We have two young kids who I'm clearing up after. Don't want that as well. How can he just walk away from a dirty shitty bog?!

He's now cleaned it and made a point of telling me like he wants a bastard sticker or something.

In every other way he is great and generally tidy but the toilet........ Grrrrrrr

Sounds like he expects a parent/fairy to clean up after him! Flowers

Use his head to clean right round the rim

Imo.

That's absolutely disgusting. DH has an awful virus atm but is still managing to clean his shit up.

I decided one day that I wasn't doing it all myself any longer. I just started asking DH (very politely) to clean it every time he left it in a mess.

I've also pointed out to him that, as he's the only one in the house who routinely lifts the seat, he's in the best position to notice that underneath it needs cleaning.

It took a while but he now cleans up after himself straight away and it's much nicer.
