I’m sorry but this is the only place I can think I can get some help as google is being unhelpful.

My two friends and I are knackered and worn out. We want a spa night. We have about £250 each. We live in London and I’m trying to find a bloody hotel with a really nice spa that has either rooms with triple occupancy, a suite so two rooms so we can all stay together.

It was fine until our fourth dropped out.

Any suggestions? Happy to travel into London or drive out about 90 mins.

Thanks and sorry for abusing AIBU!

Try Luton Hoo, they do adjoining rooms so you could get a linked one. I’ve done that before and there were three of us.

Bicester Spa Hotel- plus you could do a shopping trip at bicester village in between

The Priory in Bath, Bishopstrow House near Warminster or Lucknam Park near Colerne x

Merryoldgoat · 07/01/2020 22:15

Thank you all.

Spafinder isn’t helpful as you can’t search by guest number as far as I can tell.

I’ll look at the others.

Hertfordshire theres a great one in a hotel. Can't remember the name will try and find out. X

Seasonaldisorder · 07/01/2020 22:59

Luton Hoo put 3 of us in a big room....

Seasonaldisorder · 07/01/2020 23:01

Also the Syon Park Hilton has a nice spa was was flexible with some friends... You'll find in Jan that places will be flexible more although one of you may have to have a posh camp bed..

purplerabbit19 · 07/01/2020 23:05

I've stayed in a great triple room at Ockenden Manor in West Sussex. Lovely spa too!!

Cherrysoup · 07/01/2020 23:07

Champneys in Tring if you want to travel north of London. Surely there are decent ones in London itself, tho?

QuitMoaning · 07/01/2020 23:08

@lisag1969
Are you thinking of Sopwell House? I went a few years ago and it was pretty good and I think it has improved since then. I remember it being good value for money.

RainbowMum11 · 07/01/2020 23:11

Might be slightly further but Hoar Cross Hall have triple rooms I believe

Merryoldgoat · 07/01/2020 23:16

@Cherrysoup

It’s more finding the accommodation for 3 - loads of nice spas but it means searching the spa, then going to the hotel website, checking room types and deals etc.

I figured hopefully someone on here might’ve been to one.

I’ll call Luton Hoo and Ockenden Manor tomorrow. The both look lovely.

Eastwell Manor might be good 😊

MuddlingThrough1724 · 07/01/2020 23:35

Take a look at South Lodge in West Sussex.

katy1213 · 07/01/2020 23:41

Don't know about Champneys at Tring, but have stayed at Forest Mere and the food was awful and the room was shabby and run-down. Staff very off-hand, too. Thought maybe I was being a bit precious/spoiled until a friend told me exactly the same.

FanSpamTastic · 08/01/2020 01:25

Try Careys.

They have a cottage that sleeps 6 - might be too big?

bumbleboots · 08/01/2020 01:33

Whittlebury hall is amazing

lisag1969 · 08/01/2020 05:33

@quitmoaning sopwell house is lovely x
The place I was thinking of is Needham hotel it's lovely. Maybe check that out too. X prices range from £55 to £75. For the rooms. Depending on where you book.
Spa treatments package separate. You can book as little or as much as you want. X enjoy x

WineAt4pm · 08/01/2020 05:49

Alexander House in East Sussex is probably just within your travel distance and they definitely do rooms with 3 single beds (I've been in a group of 5 and we split between two rooms).
