AIBU that fast fashion has to change

Listening to a retail podcast about what Retailing would look like in 2030 they discussed the fact the to make one t-shirt it uses the equivalent on ones drinking water for a person.

This can’t be sustainable. Ironic also that fast fashion is aimed at the generation that’s shouting loudest about the future of the planet.

Yanbu. But it also irritates me seeing lots of t shirts for sale with "environmental " messages for this reason. I don't buy much any more but tend to either buy second hand or the odd decent item in the sales that I know will last ages.

I also make sure any stuff the children outgrow is handed on or given to charity shops
