RIP wiring in my bra. It always happens. Pokes out. Soo annoying. Less than a month old. Is this due to sizing or poor quality?

You need to invest in little bra bags for washing and drying them in. Sounds like your washing machine is too harsh on them.

I never suspected the washer/dryer

Yup, I'd say it's the washing machine/dryer, I'd invest in a little bra bag as @geekone suggests, in the mean time put them in a pillowcase tied up while washing.

I keep reading about this, but it has never happens to me in 35 years of wearing bras. I do generally wash my bras by hand, but not always, probably about 50/50.

I use a mesh bag for mine. I don't tumble dry though as I don't have a tumble drier

There is nothing worse than a wire sticking in your boob but yes, gentle washing is the answer.
