Who's the most badly behaved here?

I'm neither of the people in this scenario but live opposite them and have heard been forced to listen to both sides...they're both being unreasonable wankers but who's the most unreasonable?
Neighbour A was going away over Xmas. Asked neighbour B if he could pull his bin to the property boundary on bin day otherwise it wouldn't be collected. Neighbour B agreed and then asked is they could use A's mainly empty bin for their Xmas rubbish overflow. A agreed as long as it was bagged up and not loose (they are very houseproud and this obviously also extends to their bin!)
Anyway neighbour B filled up the bin with a load of unbagged shite (including food waste!) and then FORGOT TO PUT IT OUT.
Neighbor A was furious on his return to find a full uncollected bin, and told B to empty it out and clean it. He asked him on NYD when B had a horrific hangover. B said he'd do it the next day. A waited until 5.00 the next day and, after no sign of B coming round, rolled his wheelie bin round to neighbour B and upended it on his path.

It's been carnage. Foxes and cats spread the rubbish as B didn't notice for a while so the other neighbors are furious. B actually called the non emergency police number (according to his son who's friends with my son and is MORTIFIED) but apparently they were VERY short with him.
I think A was entirely in the right but he lost the moral high ground when he emptied rubbish everywhere. DH thinks A is the hero he's been waiting for but I think this is because hes mild mannered and diligent with our bins so this whole fiasco is amazing to him!
So... who's the MOST idiotic?

Got that the wrong way round.

A is worse.

FriedasCarLoad · 03/01/2020 19:15

A's behaviour was hardly without blemish in the end, but B is far more to blame.

redcarbluecar · 03/01/2020 19:15

Is B a pain in the arse generally? I’m wondering why A was the hero your husband had been waiting for.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 03/01/2020 19:16

B was a CF for filling the bin and then not putting it out.

However if I was A I would have swapped bins over and left b with the bin full of their own crap.

Violetparis · 03/01/2020 19:16

A is worst as his behaviour has consequences for the whole street.

TidyDancer · 03/01/2020 19:17

A is a dick but B should've emptied the bin quicker. A's response was not warranted. So I think on balance A is the bigger twat.

TigerOnATrain · 03/01/2020 19:18

@Seasonaldisorder

Both sets sound like nightmare neighbours, and a bunch of idiotic fools.

Pathetic and childish behaviour, and I thank GOD my neighbours are lovely, kind, and friendly, and not assholes like these people you mention in your post!

dreamingofmushrooms · 03/01/2020 19:19

This is what net curtains were made for Grin

I'd have loved to watch all this unfold...

JayAlfredPrufrock · 03/01/2020 19:19

A is fabulous and I’m with him all the way. B is an entitled twat.

KnightandDay · 03/01/2020 19:19

Go A!!! B is most badly behaved. I'd Love to have had front row seats to this.

Seasonaldisorder · 03/01/2020 19:21

B did put his own bin out (or rather his wife did and she was apparently unaware of the other arrangement. Collections every 2 weeks so a massive pain if your bin is already full.

MitziK · 03/01/2020 19:21

I aspire to be A.

Who hasn't harboured a secret wish to be that person - the one who, when some dick takes the absolute piss, actually does what they want?

It was B's rubbish. B can have it back. And clean it up, as it isn't A's job to do it.

eurochick · 03/01/2020 19:22

B is a cheeky fucker.

I'd have wanted to do what A did but would probably have lacked the ladyballs

HairyDogsOfThigh · 03/01/2020 19:22

'A' is worse. At 5 oclock A should have insisted that B deal with the rubbish, but by emptying it everywhere, they have tipped over into twatty behaviour.

Tableclothing · 03/01/2020 19:23
GiveHerHellFromUs · 03/01/2020 19:23

B was a massive twat.

Would the bin men take A's bin with unbagged rubbish and when was bin day?
To me that affects how much of a dick A was being.

MondeoFan · 03/01/2020 19:23

A is still the winner here

lucie8881 · 03/01/2020 19:24

In light of Bs bin having been collected I think it would have been better if A had used Bs empty bin for the next 2 weeks

Tableclothing · 03/01/2020 19:24

A should've posted the bin contents through B's front door.

Iloveacurry · 03/01/2020 19:25

B is a CF for filing the bin without bags and then not putting it out. Did he put his own bin out?

I think A hasn’t come out of this looking good either. Obviously he ran out of patience, but dumping all the rubbish on B’s garden wasn’t a good move, and has pissed off all the other neighbours.

bakewreck99 · 03/01/2020 19:25

Team A. B is a lazy CF - he took advantage of A's bin and didn't do the favour he was supposed to, he deserved what he got and just so like a CF to try and bring the police in! B has no shame.

Cillmantain · 03/01/2020 19:28

B is a selfish twit
And a fool..calling the police !!
A was right to do what he did
I would have tempted to shove half of it in the letterbox

maryberryslayers · 03/01/2020 19:29

B is a CF, it's one thing to forget and understandable if he thought his wife had done both, but then to leave it for 2 days, having agreed to sort it, isn't on. A clearly had no intentions of doing it any time soon either, as if he'd have gone outside he'd have found the rubbish sooner!

Team A!!

ohwheniknow · 03/01/2020 19:29

B was confident there'd be no consequences for his behaviour (the original behaviour and then his subsequent decision to compound it by not taking responsibility for sorting it out). If the rest of the street are suffering it's his fault and their ire should be directed at him.

People blaming A are the reason B felt so confident to be such a dick.

misspiggy19 · 03/01/2020 19:29

A is fabulous and I’m with him all the way. B is an entitled twat.

^I agree
