Closing Threads

Is there any chance, MNHQ that you could give a warning when a thread will be closed and not just take it down?

I've just spent ages writing a post only to find it won't post because the thread has been deleted. It's really irritating. If you could just give 15 mins so all those who are typing can actually post?

I get its annoying but what would be the point in you finishing your post before it was taken down? Also pretty sure I've seen messages saying we will be taking this post down soon
