This plate of food looks unreal!?

I dont normally eat this kind of food but I went a bit mad in the deli section in morrisons for me and DH now the kids are in bed
Yes am one of those wankers that take pictures of food! But oh days it was so so good.

What's everyone eating tonight?

Only me here, with the dogs and cats. I had Aberdeen Angus steak with fried onions and McCain mildly spiced wedges. Pudding is lime jelly made with elderflower cordial, meringue, grapes and extra thick cream.

Late breakfast (early lunch - 11.30am?) was fried egg on toast, early tea after walking the dogs was a slice of Christmas cake, Wensleydale cheese with cranberries, and a piece of shortbread.

I am really, really glad I'm not logging my food diary into MFP today. I'll spend January working through the rest of the festive food and start again in February. Hope 2020 is kind to you all.

We went out to an Indian restaurant as a treat tonight. The food was amazing but they served it on a metal tray thingy with seperate sections for curry, rice, salad, bread etc. I felt like I was in a prison canteen, which kind of ruined it.

Went out for a meal early doors and now back home drinking lemon drizzle gin.

I ate the most amazing lamb and parsnip pie with mash and buttered greens for my meal out and it was possibly the most delicious pie I have ever eaten. And I've had a few 🤣

I've been at work all day but managed to pick up a few things in M&S, along with baked camembert. Had a G&T with fresh pink grapefruit and now contemplating bed. 🤟

Steak here as well, with oven baked frites and chimichurri sauce. Amazing. Now polishing off the red wine. Happy New Year all!

• @PooWillyBumBum* I had that when I was pregnant and got omeprazole on prescription, it was amazing stuff.

I had chicken, carrot and sesame salad, scotch pancakes and cucumber. Strange but very nice.

We had takeaway curry .

DD cooked for me - a lovely quinoa salad. It was delicious!

Teriyaki chicken with sticky rice and bok choi - nice enough and suited DH who can barely use his right hand at the moment (as it was I had to cut up some of his chicken, didn’t think I’d be doing that just yet). But then a complicated set of circumstances caused 15yo DD and friends to appear and order Five Guys via Deliveroo and now I regret not sneaking an extra portion of fries into the order.

That looks delicious. YABVU as I now want what you had, and we have absolutely nothing even vaguely resembling what's on your plate.

Chinese takeaway which I didn't enjoy. Have nice steaks in the fridge which would have been much nicer but he offered to get a takeaway and it seemed more of a treat than cooking but the steaks would have been much nicer.

Massive beef/Yorkshire pud/veg dinner. Got through about 2/3 of it!

Chicken broth (without tortellini for me)

Warm panettone with vanilla ice cream.

We were going to have steak, but it had gone off, so we had the vegetables on their own. They were nice, though.
