We had party food - some Tesco finest bits, homemade sausage rolls, crisps and dips.

OlaEliza · 31/12/2019 20:28

I had

Onion bhajee
Half a king prawn puree
Poppadoms & dips
Lamb curry
Pilau rice
Naan

It was 😋😋😋

puppymouse · 31/12/2019 20:29

Smoked salmon, king prawn and cucumber sandwich with an apple Blush

LEELULUMPKIN · 31/12/2019 20:31

DH is in the kitchen halfway through cooking roast beef, roast taters, peas, carrots and homemade yorkshires whilst I dance round the living room after consuming two whole baileys!

I am not a drinker!

listsandbudgets · 31/12/2019 20:32

Not bothering tonight. Weve been away and only got home about 6pm. Ordered pizza for DCs. DP and I had a sandwich.

Planning roast lamb and all the trimmings tomorrow though

Grinchly · 31/12/2019 20:32

From the freezer
Smoked salmon, with ultra fab cream cheese
Followed by
Duck breast ( cooked and seasoned to perfection), with steamed broccoli
Delicious.

BarbedBloom · 31/12/2019 20:34

I made lamb koftas with flatbread and salad. They were divine and now I have some ice cream.

Pinkyrosie · 31/12/2019 20:39

I had a tub of double cream left over from Christmas. So I made chicken in cream and white wine sauce with mushrooms. Sautéed potatoes and peas
Apple pie and custard. Healthy eating starts tomorrow Grin

Bluerussian · 31/12/2019 20:43

In the picture I think I can see cherry tomatoes, mushrooms - not sure what the rest is.

I had ham and mushroom tagliatelle and it was lovely!

Bunnyfuller · 31/12/2019 20:43

Well, after trying to keep all 3 different diets happy I have given in. I’m fucking sick of selfish bastards and my unofficial restaurant

Elbeagle · 31/12/2019 20:45

Just got back from a&e with a very poorly 6 year old... might have some toast!

FREEM · 31/12/2019 20:47

buffet stuff
thise big prawns in a coating are a fav

dudsville · 31/12/2019 20:48

I've got frozen croissants and scrambled eggs. I prefer mine. But yours looks good!

thenightsky · 31/12/2019 20:50

Indian takeaway. Eaten half and will the rest later. DS and DH have wolfed all theirs.

Pascha · 31/12/2019 20:50

I made a Thai green curry which we had with rice and naan. The children, true to form, turned their noses up at such glorious fayre and opted for chicken and chips instead.

They are in bed now and I have started on the remaining pringles. Might break the Drambuie out soon.

Hope your son is better soon @Elbeagle

StylishDuck · 31/12/2019 20:51

Chicken kiev with cauliflower cheese and carrots followed by melt in the middle chocolate puds with ice cream, and prosecco. M&S dine in for 2 deal as has become our Hogmanay tradition since becoming parents.

TroysMammy · 31/12/2019 20:53

I made a vegetable biryani. I'm not vegetarian but we will be eating less meat next year.

MrsExpo · 31/12/2019 20:53

M&S curry, rice and naans washed down with a glass or two of Aldi Malbec. Perfect.

Gonewiththemadness · 31/12/2019 20:57

Cheese and crackers and a beer for tea and an Asda extra special pudding for dessert. Enjoyed the tea (although I’m feeling very ready for healthier choices again now!) but the dessert was awful! The base was a lemon brownie which was ok and there was a mousse/cheesecake filling inside the white chocolate pine cone which was ok but then in the top there was a purée/custard type thing which honestly tasted like animal fat! 🤢. Your tea looks delicious! One food picture taker wanker to another Xmas Grin

@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats I was going to say nah mate, until you added in the Yorkshire puddings. Sounds excellent delicious fab😁

BillywigSting · 31/12/2019 20:59

Lasagne with chips and garlic bread. Dp went really ott with buttered bread for a chip butty.

Then the three of us (me, dp and ds) demolished most of a tub of heroes. I might polish off the Pringles in a bit or suggest the doritos and salsa.

Will crack open the whiskey in an hour or so. Ds is staying up as long as he is able (he's only 6 so not expecting him to last until midnight)

Imfoaming · 31/12/2019 21:03

an avocado, a few Doritos, a san peregrino and now an instant chocolate horlicks. my goodness, Im going to start a food diary cos it isn't til I wrote that down I realised what crap ive been eating

Pascha · 31/12/2019 21:06
