We have an infestation of mice going on in our house, like even coming out during the day and in pretty much every room.

Happened all of a sudden..

Partners gone out and brought traps and we have caught 2, however we have contacted a pest controller who cannot get to us until the weekend.

They have told us to remove all traps....

I cannot understand why we need to remove traps for 4 days and let the mice run a amok!

Would I BU to leave the traps down and remove them before the pest man arrives!

I was told to place traps with the shortest side against the wall as better hit rate than long side being adjacent. Oh and those plug in things never work

There was a recipe for mouse deterrent on a thread recently. From memory I think it was 20 drops of mint essential oil, 12 drops of bergamot oil, mixed in a spray bottle with lukewarm water. Anyway, it worked on ours.

These are brilliant, follow the instructions for settings exactly or u will only repel spiders. Despite what they say, plug 1 in on each floor of yr house like in an open plan area or hallway.
Voila, no more mice!
Some may be lurking so use sticky traps everywhere.
Also use these on the outside of yr house, ull be surprised at how many there are at low level and higher up yr house, yes mice go up the walls, they did in mine after I covered the lower ones! :
