Didn’t Nessa owe Doris some money......several thousand if I recall......perhaps that’s why gavin and Stacey got the house

Doris didn’t really like Nessa and Nessa already owed her money which she was being very lazy about repaying.

Yes! I think it was 3.5k at a repayment of £1 a week? Doris took a stand over making the salad for the christening over it. But Smithy seemed to agree Nessa should have got the house still? Which seemed a bit off imo 🙄

Smithy has always been a complete soft touch with Nessa tho, he’d have given her the world (or a shagged old Volvo and a new bathroom) if she’d picked him over Dave Coaches back in the day

Nessa is a bit of a grifter tbf. Although I did like her offering Smithy the £200 bag of change from her 'jobs' 😂 Fair play to her she seems to have not taken Smithy to the cleaners even if she's still sponging off Bryn by living at his 10yrs on.

I was actually quite disappointed Stace hadn't turned out to do a degree and some higher paid job, with Gav as a stay at home parent tbh. I felt it'd have been a nice twist on it.

I have been watching the old series on Dave and I still think Nessa is big pain in the butt ... she is funny and I have known confident big women like her ... just look at Gemma Collins. As for Smith he is heading for a heart attack in later years unless he gets his diet under control.
