Right now nothing. I am receiving from flu and haven't got my appetite back. Gutted that we have so much Christmas food still about!

LloydColeandtheCoconuts · 27/12/2019 21:01

Deliveroo. Or lasagne. Or a pie.

Scrumptiousbears · 27/12/2019 21:07

I'm on my own NYE. I'm having baked Camembert. OH is working and he can't stand it.

AndAnon · 27/12/2019 21:14

Marmite peanut butter on toast for dinner, pot noodle for lunch.

I never cook when it’s just me!

StinkyWizleteets · 27/12/2019 21:16

Nothing

RoseMartha · 27/12/2019 21:28

Pasta bake or jacket potato
Or if I didnt feel like it I would have cereal and toast.

DeRigueurMortis · 27/12/2019 21:42

Tbh I wouldn't cook at all.

I'd go to my lovely local deli and get loads of nice cheese/pate/charcuterie/seafood, bread and salads.

Then I'd just spend all day on the sofa watching movies with a nice bottle of wine to go with my fabulous spread of food Grin

bathplugbonkers · 27/12/2019 22:07

I'd get up early to attend to the pets, then go back to bed with a book and a cheese sandwich made with strong cheddar and decent bread. For lunch I'd do my favourite veg curry but with naan because I'm shit at rice. Then I'd go for a long walk around the lanes and drop by the supermarket on the way back to do hungry shopping and get whatever I fancied, probably involving pork pies, hummus, sausage rolls, crisps and biscuits etc, to be eaten with a lovely French film as noone else would understand it and they all hate subtitles.

bathplugbonkers · 27/12/2019 22:08

Or if I was feeling particularly lazy for lunch I might have cheesy marmite pasta instead (a recipe I saw recommended on here!)

AwakeAmbs · 27/12/2019 22:09

Catrescue1971 · 27/12/2019 22:13

AloneLonelyLoner · 27/12/2019 22:55

Toast! All. The. Toast.

Talksunderwater · 27/12/2019 23:16

Takeaway green chicken curry or I’d cook pasta with sausage, broccoli, chilli and garlic. Mmmm. Tough choice.

Knowhowufeel · 27/12/2019 23:19

Cheese and salad cream sandwiches on white, buttered bread.
Fish finger sandwiches are also great.

Dinner wise, if I could be bothered to cook, it would be a decent steak with grilled asparagus and roasted cauliflower.

MaButterface · 27/12/2019 23:41

Black pepper crab or boiled shrimps with chilli soy sauce on the side.
Seafood basically because DH doesn't eat them.

Missillusioned · 27/12/2019 23:46

Full fried breakfast

Fr0g · 27/12/2019 23:48

baked camenbert with garlic bread

bit of a thing for pigs in blankets at the moment

scrambled egg with smoked salmon

IncrediblySadToo · 27/12/2019 23:49

Cook???🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

pollywobble · 28/12/2019 04:37

I'd be ordering a curry..

mediumbrownmug · 28/12/2019 05:25

I have literally wanted to attempt a cheese soufflé for years, but nobody but me would eat it. So in your position, I’d get a ton of eggs in and finally give it a whack. Since I’ve never made one before, my backup plan would be a curry. Grin

Growingboys · 28/12/2019 20:14

What did you go for OP?

I had a day to myself and had a blueberry/banana smoothie for breakfast, Italian bean soup for lunch (both homemade) and then a cheese omelette with beans for supper.

Also had crisps, an ice lolly, several chocs, and some chocolate milk.

Cryingoverspilttea · 28/12/2019 20:18

Half a spicy chicken with garlic wedges and a ton of aioli.
