To ask what does your DH/DP do for a living?

Was married to someone for 6 years who did fuck all in or out of the house. He's very workshy and his lack of ambition and laziness killed any love I had for him. I couldn't respect him. Funny enough I was made to feel a 'gold digger' Hmm Never again.

So I'm just curious, what does your DH do for a living?

I'm a HGV driver. Partner is a department manager in an IT company, so she has the more "respectable" job.

Aircraft engineer.

He is the senior guy who signs off an aircraft which has been in the hanger for maintenance or repair as being airworthy and safe to fly across the ocean with 350 people on board. It’s a scary amount of responsibility, but he is vastly experienced and knows more about the aircraft than the people who designed them and the people who fly them put together.

I mentioned above my dh is a radio presenter. His salary is way under the national average though. He's not on any rich list 😂
