Was married to someone for 6 years who did fuck all in or out of the house. He's very workshy and his lack of ambition and laziness killed any love I had for him. I couldn't respect him. Funny enough I was made to feel a 'gold digger' Hmm Never again.

So I'm just curious, what does your DH do for a living?

I'm not sure what the point of this thread is. Why do you want to know everyone's DH's jobs?

I get to spend an awful lot of time at builders yards and my house generally has at least 1 hole in the floor where there is work going on, but my favourite is watching TV with him as he comments on the standard of the finish Xmas HmmXmas Grin

He's a Homer Simpson strippergram in the very small hamlet of Outing-on-the-Wold.

He earns squillions by organising whip-rounds for people to pay him to keep his clothes on.

He also cycles as a hobby but I can't tell you that, as you'd guess who he is.

My DH has a binman/labourer type job which is not to be sniffed at. Less than 20k,but he can more or less tell them when he is working, the commute is less than a mile, he is at home a lot, he is paying into a pension, and his boss loves him and always gives him treats Grin it's also as stable as any job can be these days. We live in a cheap area and are homeowners, and I can work part time. We can't ever seem to stretch to a proper holiday abroad, but I feel that we're lucky and wouldn't want DH to do something more stressful/longer hours. He did start out on a "proper" career after university but his health broke down, it just wasn't for him

AlexaShutUp · 26/12/2019 14:43

What do you do, OP?
