Was married to someone for 6 years who did fuck all in or out of the house. He's very workshy and his lack of ambition and laziness killed any love I had for him. I couldn't respect him. Funny enough I was made to feel a 'gold digger' Hmm Never again.

So I'm just curious, what does your DH do for a living?

Funeral director

cafenoirbiscuit · 27/12/2019 19:19

Only works for 18 hours a year but uses loads of storage for 6 weeks before. Sleeps a lot on Christmas Day as a result.

happycamper11 · 27/12/2019 19:22

@Spacebowlisback I doubt it, he barely remembers what I told him an hour ago let alone be able to remember sensitive and classified information- but I suppose that could be a cover...... 👀

Kenworthington · 27/12/2019 19:22

I’m not 100% sure. Something to do with land and development and planning.

npowerarebastards · 27/12/2019 19:22

Same as me. It's outing though so can't be specific.

Lweji · 27/12/2019 19:23

Very similar to me too. We're biologists.

He's a Senior Project Manager for an energy company.

@Spacebowlisback no, not an Ian!

Spacebowlisback · 27/12/2019 19:31

Moreisnnogedag · 27/12/2019 19:32

SAHP - he’s wonderful at it! I have the least stressful home life ever and the kids go on adventures. I’d be such an awful SAHM that it was definitely the right choice for us

Mechanic. But it’s also his hobby, so he’s never home. He works even on his days off and every weekend, he will go and do work for people on the side at every opportunity and that kills the love for me sometimes and can cause a huge argument every so often as we never spend any time together. Both working full time we have Saturday and Sunday to spend a day together yet he goes off to work almost every Saturday and most Sunday’s.

MarrymeTomHardy · 27/12/2019 19:40
