Was married to someone for 6 years who did fuck all in or out of the house. He's very workshy and his lack of ambition and laziness killed any love I had for him. I couldn't respect him. Funny enough I was made to feel a 'gold digger' Hmm Never again.

So I'm just curious, what does your DH do for a living?

My boyfriend is a grave digger... it's not the best paid job but supports our growing conjoined family... He works hard digging holes all day, I don't expect him to work his but off at home too, though I can't complain he does always clean at least 1 room till practically spotless on a Sunday after we've had his children over to help me out... (7th baby on the way (he has 4 from previous relationship, I have 2 from previous, so 1 between us) our house is hectic 😂😂

I don't have a 'DH' or a 'DP' or a 'D' anything 🤷‍♀️.

I'm a teacher though...another one NOT earning 70k 😢🤷‍♀️ (or even half that!)

I have a cat...he doesn't earn anything at all...but he is very entertaining 👍

Mine is retired on a very nice pension that he was able to add to as I have always worked and still am. He has done nothing around the house whilst working and has done nothing since retiring. We are now divorcing and I am going to look after just me. Oh and I have no huge pension as all my income went on clothing thd children, paying childcare, buying all birthday and Christmas gifts for everyone, paying for hols and buying all the things that make a house a home Hmm

My DH started out as a labourer digging up roads to install utilities pipes but after 17 years of hard graft has worked his way up to site supervisor for a company doing commercial groundworks. He supported me for several years while I found my way & now I'm a finance manager. He earns slightly more than me, but we have a very healthy combined income & aim to share household chores/childcare as both our jobs can be pretty full on (but I cook more as I'm better at it Grin)

No normal jobs in sight, everyone is on the Forbes rich list by the sounds of it
Some of you have serious chips on your shoulders. We’ve got HGV drivers and farmers among others. And a lot of jobs don’t earn as much as people think —mine doesn’t earn anything, he’s an artist—
