Was married to someone for 6 years who did fuck all in or out of the house. He's very workshy and his lack of ambition and laziness killed any love I had for him. I couldn't respect him. Funny enough I was made to feel a 'gold digger' Hmm Never again.

So I'm just curious, what does your DH do for a living?

Senior management for international company. Certainly not millionaires though, or anywhere near. Okay money, but we have to live near London & he has to travel lots.

Software engineer.

SploshMeBackwards · 27/12/2019 18:12

He's a games designer and he also does something else part time too but it would be outing to say what it is. Either way, he earns a good wage as do I, yet, those who know us, particularly the school run crowd 🙄 used to assume otherwise. Now they couldn't be any more up our arses if they tried 😆😆😆

scarbados · 27/12/2019 18:13

Mine was a logistics and warehouse manager for a car parts company before he was made redundant.

He's now a FLT driver with a large DIY chain. They keep offering him a promotion to warehouse manager but he's happy to go in, do his job and come home without managerial responsibility now.

Emmajones2517 · 27/12/2019 18:15

Manager for Greggs. Sounds dull but he loves it and tbf it’s an amazing company to work for. They actually pay well and look after their staff

Redwoodmaz · 27/12/2019 18:16

Mine is retired. He sold his business that we ran, 2.5 years ago at 57. In theory it was perfect. In practice it's driving me mad. I reckon we could be divorced this time next year...

DownstairsMixUp · 27/12/2019 18:17

Engineer

frazzledtofook · 27/12/2019 18:18

Works away in the construction industry. Dread the day he doesn't work away as two weeks at Christmas is pushing me over the edge. He's turned into a self centred arsehole.
