Nope! My two would be in bed now but again they want to watch the tiger that came to tea

HoobleDooble · 24/12/2019 19:07

Santa has done half a job so far, he took advantage of DS going round to his friend's house this afternoon and gifts have been brought downstairs are hidden on the chairs under the dining table, ready to be moved under the tree once he goes to bed. Stocking has been left in my wardrobe ready to deposit in his room when we go to bed xx

HoobleDooble · 24/12/2019 19:08

We also can't put the vacuum cleaner away until he goes to bed as we gathered all the presents from my in laws this afternoon and shoved them in the under stairs cupboard.

Rise · 24/12/2019 19:10

8 month old and 2.5 yr old, bathed and in bed in their Xmas pj's by 7om every night, thankfully while the 2.5 Yr old knows santa is coming, she isn't so aware that she'll be up early. Hopefully the usual 730 wake up. Santa on his way once I finish wrapping!

Treaclepie19 · 24/12/2019 19:11

Yes!! He has been!
We also have an early sleeper. I'm so excited ❤

BelleSausage · 24/12/2019 19:11

Not yet. DD(3) is in bed but Santa needs to watch Die Hard and drink mulled wine before faffing about with presents.

Merry Christmas!

chillykiwi · 24/12/2019 19:11

Not here but the DCs have spoken to their cousins on and had the low down on how he's been and left presents which they are taking to the beach later on. They are just a little Envy I think Xmas Grin

I'm very not at all envious of course.

SlayingDragons · 24/12/2019 19:15

Christmas PJs are on, chocolate fondue eaten and all sitting together watching Sleepless in Seattle.

DC will all go to bed once it’s over (about 8pm) and that includes the 14 year old! No-one gets to stay up on Christmas Eve. He can read in his room for as long as he likes but he has to be in his room.

DH and I will likely sit and watch a couple of episodes of The Crown and then do Santa at about 10pm - same as a PP that our living room is small so we can’t do Santa until we are ready to actually go to bed otherwise we’ll have nowhere to sit. For once I actually still have a couple of gifts to wrap. Everything was done weeks ago, but Amazon got Fart Ninjas back in stock this past week so suddenly I have a few of those to wrap as well as 2 giant beanbags which are still hidden in the garage

Lunafortheloveogod · 24/12/2019 19:17

Santa’s not coming till 5am here.. hopefully the fat man will do the last night feed then too..Xmas Grin

SunshineCake · 24/12/2019 19:18

We've done the obligatory photo of the kids holding their stockings in front of the tree and kids are now chilling in their rooms. Now we have a dog I can't put the stockings under the tree so I'll run down in the morning once doggy is up.

TorysSuckRevokeArticle50 · 24/12/2019 19:20

Santa's just waiting to make sure DD is really properly asleep before attempting any manoeuvres here. Penguin bar has been eaten, carrot munched/snapped and bashed a bit and milk disposed off down the sink.

Gibble1 · 24/12/2019 19:20

My 18 year old DD has just gone out for her friend’s 18th birthday and she hasn’t put out her stocking. She also hasn’t seen her Christmas pyjamas from the elves.
16yr old DS is currently in the bath so I had to ring DH and tell him the elves were coming now to drop off the Christmas pyjamas.
I have done all the wrapping and the gifts are bagged up in the hallway ready to load up into the car tomorrow.
Stockings to be put out in front of the fire later and will send a picture to DD.

WWlOOlWW · 24/12/2019 19:22

Nope. I'll do it at about 10am tomorrow morning.

Bloody teenagers.

Igottastartthinkingbee · 24/12/2019 19:23

No Santa yet, one child (5yr old) is asleep already and the other one is reading. Will wait till he’s fast asleep as the loft hatch is right by his room!

CheshireChat · 24/12/2019 19:25

Some kids go to bed really early. DS is 5 and we haven't had dinner yet as we were out in town to see the lights and everything.

He'll go to bed around 9 and DP needs to finish wrapping. I'll be doing my nails Wink.

ThatsMySantaHisBeardIsSoFluffy · 24/12/2019 19:27

Not yet. DS is asleep, I'm not sure about DD (she often reads for a bit), so I'm leaving it until after 8. They'd been begging for an early night, so we obliged! They tend to go at 7-ish anyway and get up about 7-ish too. We shall see what happens tomorrow!

NoIDontWatchLoveIsland · 24/12/2019 19:31

DS is in bed... but baby DD isn't! She's on a feedathon, I'm having just a little dribble of Bailey's while I feed her and hoping she gets sleepy soon as I've not done my wrapping!

Littlebearstrousers · 24/12/2019 19:31

He's on his way! My 5 year old has just gone to sleep, I can't believe it I thought she would be up way later!

It's a Christmas miracle Xmas Grin

fuckitoff · 24/12/2019 19:33

I'm one ds down one to go then he will be making an appearance. Well done you for getting them in bed so early!

nononever · 24/12/2019 19:36

OP your photos take me way back to Christmases when my brother and I were small and we woke up to a white sack each sitting by the fireside 😁

Trafalger · 24/12/2019 19:37

My toddler is still awake and talking to herself in bed about reindeer. Very sadly it means she will still be awake at silly o'clock even though she is ill with the flu.

Thorilicious · 24/12/2019 19:39

Not here yet, mainly due to 3 year old ds having a rare danger nap this afternoon....

Bearfrills · 24/12/2019 19:41

Only one child out of four is asleep. Middle two are claiming to be too excited. Eldest has been in the bath for the last hour with no signs of leaving it any time soon.

Santa is hoping they're all asleep by 9pm as that's when the bikes he's had hidden in my parents shed will be arriving. He also needs to wrap everything because he was a procrastinating dickhead who didn't even start it until a few days ago.

NoncePieforSanta · 24/12/2019 19:42

I've just been on Norad, and he appears to be on his way to Riga Confused- so it's not looking good South-East Asia right now Grin

tashac89 · 24/12/2019 19:42

I wish. Santa is currently watching a muppets christmas carol, waiting on a dominos with the kids. I've still not wrapped most of it. There is no crying face.
