Complaint about hospital treatment/Hospital bring up other trips

I'm just wondering whether this is standard fare.
I made a complaint about an admission to the hospital.
In their response, One paragraph deals with the complaint. A further paragraph or two are dedicated to admonishing me for self discharging myself on other occasions and on that occasion. They incorrectly refer to me self-discharging from another hospital.
Is this sort of standard response?

I can escalate the complaint, but what's the point if this is their attitude?

Basically instead of addressing my complaint, they have attacked me instead........
