AIBU to consider getting rid of hotpoint machine despite not being on recall list?

It started with tumble dryers and now washing machines. I have a washer dryer and it's the third one from them, first two had numerous faults and we had to argue for them to replace them with another model. And then the delivery men broke my doorstep delivering it Angry

Our machine is not on the recall list, but I'm really worried still. I feel as though Whirlpool's behaviour around this has been appalling, and I don't have faith that they are honest with consumers as early as they should be. Or that they tell the truth to be honest.

Side note - I also have OCD and fire hazards are a major thing to me. I had managed the concern post tumble dryer recalls but I'm struggling to get past it now. I feel like washer dryers must be next. And who knows if or when they will ever own up to it!

AIBU/AIB ridiculous to consider getting rid of it and buying a non whirlpool made appliance even though it's not on the recall list?
