To think that working class people have been thrown under the bus?
Watching The Cure(CH 4) a woman’s fight against Stafford Hospital in 2007 after it killed her mum through neglect. It’s almost quaint that there was redress: even the media was interested.
Now this Tory government will bulldoze ahead and there will be no consequences - who is going to hold the govt to account now? Certainly not the media, or the governing body, or anyone really.
I am so upset that the case of the man who couldn’t keep his insulin cold because he didn’t get his universal credit, died with an empty stomach and this wasn’t enough for people to vote to stop that happening to another person. I don’t feel at home in my own country.
