My neighbour shouldn't be renovating his house at this time?

So the house at the back of mine is on the market as a rental. The new owner bought it and renovated it and viewings have happened etc but no luck. (He's been chatting to my husband) For the past week, I've noticed after 8pm. Drilling starts, banging non stop. It is now nearly 11pm and my daughter just woke up again because he's drilling upstairs (rooms are back to back with mine)

Will I BU to go round tomorrow and ask him to stop? (I'm presuming he must finish his day job and come over?) but it's just getting ridiculous.

YANBU. He maybe dosent realise its affecting you. I would just go over and nicely explain .... hi ..im your neighbour, i dont know if you have realized but we can hear all your drilling etc quite clearly and its disturbing our young children at night. If after this it still continues then i would contact the local council re noise complaints and see if they can restrict his working hours. Hope a quiet polite word works though x
