AIBU to think that most secondary school pupils don’t believe in Santa

Title says it all really? We were having this discussion at work today and I think it’s just a “five mins of fame” issue.

Surely if you send your child to a CofE school you can’t complain when their Christmas assembly focuses on Jesus instead of Santa!

To be fair, if this is true, I think the arch-bish could have got his message across about the meaning of Christmas, and maybe even mentioned good ole St. Nick. Without being so bah humbug about it all. I think most children know who Father Christmas is by secondary school age, but I guess there maybe a few who live in their own little bubble and still believe, and where's the harm? . But there's something slightly hypocritical about the Bishop being okay with believing in God and not letting the kids believe in Santa

Link doesn't work. I've taught children that age who definitely beileve. They are the minority but even if it was one child who still believed I don't think that magic should be taken away from them.

I still believed in secondary school, a little part of me still does!

I can’t believe an 11 year old believing in father christmas. its quite worrying i would think
