The scale and tone of the coverage of some spoilt rich talentless nobody who got robbed of her jewellery! The solemn tones. The lamenting of this tragedy. The demands for answers. Sod climate change, this is something we can all identify with.

Doesn’t matter who she is or how rich she is. Her property has been stolen. Property worth 50m makes it newsworthy.

AtrociousCircumstance · 16/12/2019 13:21

Oh dear, someone has lost some of their precious treasure horde. In other news, people are starving, austerity is crushing the uk...

But yes so sad the rich woman has less sparklies Hmm

spingly · 16/12/2019 13:23

@Lllot5 completely disagree, it's relative she's a millionaire and that seems a lot, would anyone care if I lost a necklace worth £500 which is a lot for me? Doubt it.

Far more newsworthy things to report on.

spingly · 16/12/2019 13:24

Agree with @AtrociousCircumstance, far more newsworthy articles around.

MaMaMaMySharona · 16/12/2019 13:25

The BBC have lost their minds when it comes to coverage of anything, it appears.

Lllot5 · 16/12/2019 15:20

If you honestly think that the bbc or any other news agency aren’t going to report on a 50m pound jewellery robbery well I don’t know what.
Course it’s newsworthy.
Shouldn’t be, maybe but it is.
