To think that Stephen Kinnock should run for labour leader?

I'm a leftie but I think to stand any chance to appeal to a broader range of voters labour needs to reign it in a bit.

Mr Kinnock is much more left of centre, campaigned to remain in the ref but was of the opinion that we must leave to preserve democracy.

Thoughts?

All that said, Denmark does seem to have a better standard of living than the UK generally.
Getting back to the thread, irrespective of whether people think it's a good idea or not to be a sahp (I've done both - it's swings and roundabouts as to which is 'best' imo), I think her comments won't be judged well and would be one more thing that SK would have to contend with of he was leader of the Labour party.

I think it totally sexist to say they should elect a woman!
Why? Next you will be saying there are male and female brains!
Frankly, they should elect the best person for the job. Whoever is elected must have future PM potential, and when there is another Labour Government, must be able to represent our country to the rest of the world. This could be a woman, but should not be the main focus.

Hear, hear. The best person for the job.
I would like it to be Keir Starmer or Yvette Cooper. Of the two, Keir Starmer would probably fare better because he is a man.

To those who claim that childcare and the standard of living in Denmark is so much better than the UK, have you considered Denmark has the highest personal tax rate in the OECD?
