No not wrap these gifts for nursery staff?

I have bought 12 bottles of wine and nice boxes of chocolates for staff members at DS's nursery. The wine bottles can go in bottle bags. Would you wrap each of the boxes of the chocolates?

No

Chocolateandcarbs · 15/12/2019 08:01

No because it’s likely they’ll pop them straight in the staff room to share. It sounds like you’re being very generous, I’m sure the staff will appreciate it.

I wouldnt bother wrapping them. They're adults and the chocolates arent a special surprise, although it's very kind of you, so the wrapping paper isn't really necessary.

Chocolate boxes are fine left unwrapped.

Thanks! You've all just freed up an hour of my Sunday 😀

Is this a stealth boast? Grin

WaterSheep · 15/12/2019 08:07

That's very generous of you. Chocolates are fine as they are, no need to wrap them.

12 bottles of wine!

To clarify on the generosity, I have two DS, neither have a particular key carer, and each have four of five members of staff who look after them during the course of full time week. The other two are for the nursery manager (who has done us some huge favours this year), and the chef, who has been amazing with often preparing separate food for DS who has allergies and intolerances

Adults don't get wrapped presents now?? I must have missed that memo.

Lovely gesture, OP.
There are endless threads on MN about what to buy the class teacher but rarely what to buy the nursery staff.
