Brexit got hidden there - and that meant that there was little discussion on the main areas until the last few months.

Politics is important. It affects people's lives. It should be in areas where people can easiily see it - just like all other important areas.

yet here you are....with a political thread in aibu!

tttigress · 14/12/2019 17:37

Yeah, the election is over some people don't seem to be able to get to grips with the result.

We need to move on.

Political stuff should be in politics.

dognamedspot · 14/12/2019 17:40

Yes please. I'm sick to death of all the threads saying the same thing over and over. It's done now, move on.

BMW6 · 14/12/2019 18:00

Yes, now the Election is done and dusted I agree Politics should be confined to Politics thread

Areyoufree · 14/12/2019 18:10

OMFG, YANBU. This has been the worst election I can remember for abuse from either side.

BowermansNose · 14/12/2019 18:19

Election only happened two days ago! It’s still quite a hot topic. YABU

ginghambox · 14/12/2019 18:23

Yes it should. But as the "RIGHT" side lost they will be allowed to carry on abusing everyone else.

SilverySurfer · 14/12/2019 18:24

The boards have been swamped with Brexit threads for the last four years despite there being a Brexit Board, so I don't see how political threads are any different.

thehorseandhisboy · 14/12/2019 18:25

YABU. Just don't click on threads that have titles that you don't want to get involved in discussing.

Hohonoshow · 14/12/2019 18:25

Well are Christmas threads only in the Christmas section?
Politics affects everything you know
